Cannibals like Sushi?

Yeah, you read that right. Apparently, the cannibals of Papua New Guinea find that the best tasting meat (other than the women of their race, but well, they can’t very well eat all their women, can they?) is the meat of Japanese people. And, on top of that, apparently,“The meat of white people smells too strongly and is too salty.”

Apparently, Japanese people are some of the healthiest people in the world, so it makes sense that they taste fresher and just plain better. You wouldn’t want to eat diseased meat, just as beef from cows that have Mad Cow Disease, or birds that have the Bird flu, would you? Not saying white people are diseased, but well, it makes sense that white meat might be salty. No offense, but I see people drowning their food in salt before even tasting it, and well, has anyone ever tasted McDonald’s french fries? My case stands. So, perhaps we should extend that to American meat, rather than just white meat. I mean, anyone who lives in America is affected by this salt pandemic, aren’t we?

It’s not that I want to taste good for cannibals; in fact, I want to maffick (to celebrate in an unrestrained manner – YAY! You now have read your SAT word of the day) for the fact that cannibals don’t want to eat me. Actually, many creatures purposely taste bad so that they aren’t eaten. But, well, as we humans pride ourselves as being the top of the food chain, I doubt we have to really worry about trying to taste bad, as there’s plenty of other ways to get rid of predators. And, well, if they want to eat you that bad, I guess tasting bad isn’t going to deter them.

Nonetheless, perhaps we might want to think about what we eat. No wonder eating garlic scares away the mosquitoes, along with the vampires.

So, I guess this proves, you are what you eat. The things you learn, eh?

Mommy, Why is there a Server In the House?

So, I went to CES 2009, and got to go into the Microsoft Press Lounge. We found this awesome book, "Mommy, Why is There a Server in the House?" And, needless to say, I had to read it. My friend, Zac Altman is recording for me, and he's from Australia (thus the "down under" reference. You'll see it!) Anyway. Enjoy it! Sorry about the light change, but Microsoft seemed to like to change the colors. lol. Have fun!

Random Quote of the Day #1

Sooo. I've decided to start making random quotes.

"Cut off a man's foot so that he can't feel the papercut."

It's awesome. You'd never really do it, but well, it puts things into perspective. There is always something worse than what you are facing right now. We may not be able to see the whole scheme of things, but remember, in life, we are given only so much. Some of it good, some of it bad. But, no matter the outcome, you must remember that life is always better than it could be. At least, if you can read this right now. There's always someone else worst off than you. And well, if you really have something wrong right now, cut off your foot, and realize how much better you are off right now :]
